libfile-libmagic-perl software package provides Perl interface to libmagic for determining file type, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-libmagic-perl
libfile-libmagic-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-libmagic-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-libmagic-perl *
You will get with libfile-libmagic-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
